I frequently get asked about the tools I use to produce my work, and it always seems to get lost in the noise of all the things I post, so I hope to make this a centralized place for all that info for you to bookmark or share as you see fit ;)

Hardware
Macbook Pro 13”
iPad Pro 12.9”
Apple Pencil
Software
Procreate Drawing App - my MAIN drawing app, it is a one-time purchase of $13 and is the greatest money spent!
Adobe Creative Suite - I still use Photoshop for tweaks to my procreate files, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop for my shop and creating products. I still find it useful despite it being so expensive!
Clip Studio Paint - Since working with them I started to use them for certain brushes and features!
MagicPoser - I use this app to brainstorm compositions and help with poses before sketching.
Handy - A hand-drawing reference tool.
iPad Accessories
Paperlike Screen Protector - I CANNOT draw without this screen protector, it really helps my brain get over how strange it can feel drawing on a glassy screen. Recommend it! It comes in a pack of 2 and I change mine out every 6 months.
Paperlike Artist Collection - I genuinely do recommend this whole pack. It’s pricey but you get 2 protectors, a glove, and pencil grips that are good quality and durable.
iPad Stand - This is my current stand I use to draw on my desk and it helps with hand and neck fatigue.
Adjustable angle iPad case - This case is unique in that it has several different angles for drawing whereas most cases are limited to one. I use this when I’m traveling and want the flexibility of angles, but my one qualm is that I can’t store my pencil with the grip, so I have to take off my grip when using it. It also does not cover the front
Paperlike Bumper Case - My everyday case. It protects the entire device, holds the pencil with the grips, and is slim and clean.
Procreate Brushes
Sketching, lineart, everything
Fat Pencil Brush - this is the main drawing brush I’ve used for almost 7 years now! 90% of my artwork is made with this brush.
Color and Shading
Procreate default Airbrush > Hard airbrush
Procreate default Inking > Studio Pen
Procreate Default Inking > Tinderbox
Background
Misc
Cosmic Cookie Brush Pack - I love the textures in this pack and use them for sketching or shading occasionally.
Phew! That’s everything for now, but will update this list as needed and will announce when changes are made! Please let me know in the comments if there are any other things you’d like me to share, and I hope you find this useful to upgrade your setup or drawing experience! Happy drawing!
